Easterhouse is a large east Glasgow district with wide distributor roads like Easterhouse Parkway and big roundabouts, which make it a useful place for lane discipline and roundabout practice. Traffic is generally lighter than in the city centre.
The Glasgow Fort retail park nearby brings retail-park entrances and busier weekends, and the M8 is close for motorway-style driving. Garthamlock and Auchinlea have quieter streets for first lessons.
Baillieston is the nearest test centre.
